Hello CSSD family
I'm sure that you already know IWA went great..
Florian & I taught  Gunting-LLC at the PID Anti Terror Conference .. we had a tremendous response then at the main show at IWA things were also great! We won Knife of the Year, Tactical at  IWA...very cool!

I did many interviews on it..; I guess we can add this to any possible upcoming articles! :)
I NEVER seem to be included in any Tactical story, knives with our Armed Services..even though my knives are there, including my LLC USMC and I teach these guys..

ROFL (Roll On Floor Laughing)..OH well...

maybe some of you want to write? (I noticed that Ontario still had Abanikos for display sale at their new booth at IWA the same as at SHOT..as well as others in IWA,,like ACMA RUESS) The Abaniko is used in combat daily in Iraq and Afghanistan! I saw the Submarine ( Abaniko family of knives) at several booths as well I just received my patents on the Abaniko and all variations of it! Be safe Bram Frank - Founder of CSSDSC

Know-how and special production technologies
Knives: Everyday tools, designer models,
collectors’ items and emergency instruments.
Manufacturers develop new knives for a
wide range of purposes and areas of life
every year. Knives from all over the world
are judged at the IWA (Internationale
Waffens Austellung) & Outdoor Classics
exhibition and selected as the best knives
of the year in various categories of the IWA
International Knife Award. Again in 2007,
many models impressed with their special
functionality and surprising innovation.
Besides the everyday tasks, there are man special purposes for which a knife must have a special shape and/or a special combination of materials, e.g. because it must be used for life-saving or self-defence purposes.

Such a knife became the winner in the “special knives -tactical category”: the Lapu Lapu Corto model from Cherusker- Messer, Germany, designed by Bram Frank, USA.

The jury praised the well-designed overall concept – a sharp knife, a blunt training version and an explanatory DVD – this combination makes the Lapu Lapu Corto knife a complete self-defence system.
